This market will resolve to “Yes” if Israel initiates a major closure of its airspace by the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A “major closure” is defined as a broad closure, cancellation, or complete suspension of commercial aviation across the entirety of Israeli civilian airspace or a region encompassing a majority of Israeli civilian airspace, including commercial flights transiting, arriving in, and departing from that airspace. A qualifying closure must apply generally to all flights across Israel or a qualifying subset of Israeli airspace. Limited cancellations, delays, temporary ground stops or isolated regional closures will not qualify. Limited exceptions to a broad closure, however, will not disqualify such a closure from counting (e.g. exceptions for certain pre-approved flights may be permitted). Warnings, No-Fly-Zones, flight suspensions, or other flight restrictions imposed by airlines or countries other than Israel will not be sufficient for a “Yes” resolution. Airspace closures which occur solely due to weather conditions will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Israeli aviation authorities; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

why create this market if "Airspace closures due to holidays will qualify" ?

PolyProBet 1h ago
🤣🤣🤣nice

Onswaggie 3h ago
What is this scam lmao

PA4EVER 3h ago
Public holidays weren't taken into account since the market's inception, but now they are? well well welll

PA4EVER 3h ago
The market was trying to gauge geopolitical tension; this is essentially an Iran-related market. No matter what is said or clarified, there is only one name for this—it was not a mere technicality, as they would have us believe.
Fleeze99 4h ago
You're ignoring: "including commercial flights transiting"

conormurphy 4h ago
RULES ARE SO CLEAR! - A “major closure” is defined as a broad closure, cancellation, or complete suspension of commercial aviation across the entirety of Israeli civilian airspace , *Airspace closures due to holidays will qualify*

yes we know its a stupid clarification but stop donating like why do u guys want to make rich richer eventhough u know not a single market resolved against clarif (even microstratgy sell btc)

PA4EVER 6h ago
They simply take advantage of the situation whenever it suits them; if a mistake works in their favor, they do nothing, but if it works against them, they simply manipulate the market and force the outcome to their benefit. Even if the dispute goes to UMA, it makes no difference—they coordinate among themselves and vote based on their own financial interests rather than the truth. Polyskamm is no longer a serious prediction market; any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental.

PA4EVER 6h ago
They have practically resolved the situation; the order book is effectively frozen.
Peter.YF 6h ago
Even if the rules are updated, it does not mean the airspace will be closed on that day. Only the airports will shut down, and aircraft from other countries can still transit through.
NatiImBackToU 7h ago
yes holders you are happy and its ok, its your money, but it the end, they cheat the all community

🤠

conormurphy 7h ago

PA4EVER 7h ago
basically

PA4EVER 7h ago
A last-minute clarification that runs counter to what this market was supposed to measure—yes, you did scam us all, but never again.

so we waiting for Kippur to see that it come to 100% ? shame on you poly

PA4EVER 7h ago
They aren't even ashamed to hide it. shameless people
Fleeze99 7h ago
sure the big winners already withdrew their money from PM, so not an option

PA4EVER 7h ago
They literally changed the rules mid-game just to squeeze every last bit out of those who voted "No." We all knew Polymarket was a corrupt hub for insiders and scams, but this takes the cake. This is blatant theft.

Rinzooffical 7h ago
no users please dispute this

PA4EVER 7h ago
We've all been scammed; we should all withdraw our money from here.

PA4EVER 7h ago
What we have to do is get all our money out of here.

PA4EVER 8h ago
Are you talking about people like MR OZI? People who act like oracles when, in reality, they’re just exploiting "loopholes"—in heavy quotation marks—because they’re almost certainly in cahoots with the Polyscam management.

PA4EVER 8h ago
Can you give a name?

PA4EVER 8h ago
Logic doesn't prevail on Polymarket; what prevails is the scam, the theft of money, and fraudulent manipulation. They should cancel this market and return everyone's money.

nogambler 8h ago
Airport closed on holidays is very different from airspace closure and should not add new rule on holidays closure will qualify.

TheJewishHammer 8h ago
The "investors" always win. Look at their graph, always up. And they flip side always. Scammer with wallets. I call them scavengers.

PA4EVER 8h ago
Which investors are you referring to?

Rinzooffical 8h ago
Please no user make bond dispute this

PA4EVER 8h ago
Exactly, because this market is driven by geopolitical tensions, not a holiday; but they saw an opportunity and ripped us all off. As far as I'm concerned, though, it won't pay off for them—you might scam me out of $150, but you’ll never get another cent from me. I’m off to KKAALSHI
iadme 8h ago
I accept the fact that searching for rules loopholes is the part of the game, but in this particular case I actually think it might be disputed. Not because it is not formally right, but because of the nature of this ambiguity. If the clarification (even rightful) brings a fact which was with 99,9% known by the market owner at the moment of market creation, this transforms the game of 'reading rules carefully' into something like 'ha ha, gotcha!'. If they were about to resolve on this holiday - ok, chances are chances. But saying we will 99.9% resolve this market this certain way, does not seem like this platform is about. Not crying about the money, usual risk management.

PA4EVER 8h ago
I’ve never been scammed so blatantly; I hope the lawsuit against them really hurts them. I’ll personally make sure that, from now on, everyone knows about the practices of this shitty casino.👎️👎️👎️

TheJewishHammer 8h ago
Tip from me, for free. Look at the yes holder. When they put their money on market, you need to know that this is scam. This is my last time, puting my money on markets like this. Again.. always look how are the holders.

Rinzooffical 8h ago
“No” users i posted this on my X about this please engage so polymarket sees many people engaging and does something

PA4EVER 8h ago
This market aims to measure geopolitical tension with Iran; we were sold a bill of goods—we were scammed—and that is why they changed the rules at the last minute to wash their hands of it.

Mikelious 8h ago
How is this even allowed that you suddenly add the rule about a closure due to holiday counting? This was never the case before this is a pure scam. If I know that I wouldn't even enter the position to begin with you

PA4EVER 8h ago
How convenient to change the rules now, right?

PA4EVER 8h ago
POLYMARKET, YOU'VE SCAMMED US ALL.

PA4EVER 8h ago
They will settle the market "in accordance with the rules." In short, this means we’ve all been scammed; a casino that can change the rules mid-game and arbitrarily decide the winner—regardless of the actual outcome—is not a legitimate business. It is a scam, just dressed up with a lot of extra steps.

PA4EVER 8h ago
this is scam

PA4EVER 8h ago
As soon as I close my positions on this disgusting platform, I’m pulling out every last cent. It’s a shame because I like Polymarket, but I can’t trust my money to a company that arbitrarily changes the rules whenever it suits them; they say nothing when it benefits them, but act unilaterally when they stand to lose. This isn't a serious operation, and there are plenty of names for it that I’m not allowed to use here.
