How to Delete Your Polyhype Account

Overview

Polyhype is a decentralized, blockchain-based platform. Account deletion works differently here than on traditional platforms. Your profile and personal data can be removed, but certain information is permanent by nature of how blockchain technology works.

Before submitting a deletion request

You must complete the following steps before your account can be closed:

• Close all open positions on the platform
• Withdraw all funds from your Polyhype wallet

Please note that you will be unable to delete an account that is still holding positions or tokens and will be prompted to withdraw before proceeding.

How to delete your account

As soon as your positions are closed and the funds are withdrawn, you can delete your account by contacting the website's technical support service directly with a request to delete your account. Our manager will submit an application to the technical department of our platform. This application will be processed within 24 hours, and after approval your account will be deleted.

What gets removed

Your Polyhype profile and associated personal data will be deleted in line with our Privacy Policy. Some data may be retained where required by applicable law or regulation.

What stays on the blockchain

Because Polyhype runs on a public blockchain, your past transaction history will remain visible on-chain even after your account is removed. This is how blockchain technology works and is not something that can be changed.
